The first quarter of 2025 has seen a flurry of developments in the world of ESG, from the UK government’s recent updated guidance for entities producing modern slavery statements as required by the Modern Slavery Act 2015 to the publication of the EU’s sustainability ‘omnibus’ proposals. As we move into the spring, we’ve refreshed our Timeline of ESG Developments in 2025 with new key dates to look out for, and updates to timings, to support with horizon scanning efforts.

While some dates remain provisional, we will continue to update the timeline quarterly to keep you informed of future developments.
